Connect an AI assistant to AI Electrician Tutor

AI Electrician Tutor has a public connector at https://aielectriciantutor.com/api/mcp that an AI assistant can add with no sign-in, so it can answer questions about the Texas journeyman exam from our facts, guide and sample questions. It speaks MCP (the Model Context Protocol) over Streamable HTTP, and every tool it offers without a sign-in only reads.

What an AI can ask it

What it costs and where to buy it: what the app is, who it is for, the price and the free days.

The Texas journeyman exam, in facts: the Texas journeyman exam’s facts — hours, fees, questions, time, the open-book rule, the edition, the passing score — each with the TDLR or PSI page it comes from.

Five practice questions to try: five practice questions from this month’s free sample, with the answer, a short explanation and where to look in the book.

How to study for the exam: the ten-week study guide as plain text.

Where to sign up: the sign-up link, for a person who wants to start.

What it never sees

With no sign-in it sees nothing about anybody: no account, no progress, no answers anyone gave. It reads the same things a visitor can read on the public pages or play on the free sample.

It never returns text, tables or figures from the code book. The questions, explanations and guide are in our own words and point to articles and sections by number.

With no sign-in it writes nothing. Calls are counted per address so a runaway loop meets a limit.

How to add it

In an assistant that takes custom connectors

Open the assistant’s connector settings, choose to add a custom connector (it may be called a remote MCP server), and paste https://aielectriciantutor.com/api/mcp. No sign-in or key is asked for.

Your own progress

A learner who wants an assistant to read their own progress makes a key on their dashboard and gives it to the assistant. That key opens only that learner’s own practice, can be revoked at any time, and is never needed for the public tools.

Privacy

The connector stores nothing about a public call in our database; it keeps a short-lived count per address in memory to enforce its limit. What the app keeps for a signed-in learner, and why, is in the privacy policy.
